We have a beautiful kitchen table that can be used to seat 4 or 6 with the leaf extension. I really enjoy having the leaf in the table, however, with the scrap booking set up, it just doesn't fit well at all. So, I decided to move the scrapbook housing to a different location of the house. At first it seemed as if my placement would be crowded yet again, but it actually turned out quite nice. The family room did shrink a bit, but being that Kien is getting older the confinements are stretching beyond just his room and the family room. I have installed safety latches in the laundry room where the household chemicals are housed. I also need to install another latch set in the kitchen directly under the sink, although Kien does know not to get in the cupboards he is still a toddler.
I am still dreaming of a room extension onto the house to have a dedicated room for my mess! But, it looks like that isn't going to happen. I will have to wait until the older ones are on their own!
