Here is Brandy at her swim meet. She had 3 performances. The first performance was a 200 yard freestyle. The second was 200 yard freestyle relay. The third was a 400 yard freestyle relay, however, it was cancelled due to a swimmer not being present. So proud of her!

I think swimming is a great sport! My sister's daughter Beverly is a swimmer. I went to one of her meets a few weeks ago and found it very exciting! She dives, too. I couldn't imagine diving in front of all those people -- and it was sooooo quiet in there. But she did it, cool as a cucumber. What a great confidence-builder for girls!
Brandy loves swimming. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE her coach. I had about a 30 minute visit with her coach one morning and she was right on with her observance on Brandy and how this sport is very good on their self esteem. I just hope that she doesn't have to drop due to developing asthma.
